A step-by-step guide to adding QuarkChain Mainnet to MetaMask and getting your QKC deposit address (mobile & desktop)

You can manage your mainnet QKC in MetaMask by adding the QuarkChain network and transferring your tokens to your wallet. Follow the steps below to get started.

⚠️ Before you start: This guide covers mainnet QKC, the native token on the QuarkChain Mainnet. It doesn’t cover the ERC-20 version of QKC on Ethereum. When you withdraw, always select the QuarkChain Mainnet network.

Part 1. On mobile (MetaMask app)

Step 1. Open Networks
Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-right corner of the home screen, then tap Networks.

Step 2. Add a network & Enter the network details
At the bottom of the network list, tap Add network. Fill in the network details, then tap Save.

• Network name: QuarkChain (or QuarkChain Mainnet Shard 0)

• RPC URL: https://mainnet-s0-ethapi.quarkchain.io

• Chain ID: 100001

• Symbol: QKC

• Block explorer URL: https://mainnet.quarkchain.io/explorer

Step 3. Check the network & copy your receiving address
QuarkChain should now show up under Enabled Networks. Go back to the home screen and tap Receive. Find QuarkChain in the list and tap the copy icon. You’ll see “Address copied to clipboard.”

Part 2. On desktop (MetaMask Website)

Step 1. Open Networks
Click the menu icon (☰) in the top-right corner, then click Networks.

Step 2. Add a custom network & add from ChainList
In Manage networks, click Add a custom network at the bottom.

Click Add from ChainList, type “quarkchain” in the search bar, and select QuarkChain Mainnet Shard 0 (Chain ID: 100001).

Make sure you don’t pick the testnet or another shard.

Step 3. Check the details and set the block explorer & save
The network name, RPC URL, Chain ID and symbol fill in automatically. Check them against the image above. Under Block explorer URL, click + Add a block explorer URL, enter https://mainnet.quarkchain.io/explorer, then click Add URL.

Click Save. You’ll see the message “QuarkChain Mainnet Shard 0” was successfully added!, and the network will appear under Custom networks.

Step 4. Copy your receiving address
On the home screen, click Receive, search “quarkchain”, and click the copy icon next to QuarkChain Mainnet Shard 0.

Part 3. Withdraw your QKC

1. On the platform where you hold your QKC, go to Withdraw and select QKC.

2. Paste your MetaMask address. Under network, choose QuarkChain Mainnet (not ERC-20).

Note: You must add “00000000” (eight zeros) to the end of your copied address (0x + 40 characters) to form your QKC mainnet address (0x + 48 characters). Appending eight zeros to the ETH address will transfer QKC to shard 0 in your ETH wallet.

3. Send a small test amount first. Once it arrives, withdraw the rest.

4. To see your balance, switch MetaMask to the QuarkChain network. You can also look up your address on the QuarkChain Explorer.

Tips

• Keep a little QKC in your wallet to pay network fees.

• Never share your seed phrase or private key. The QuarkChain team will never ask for it.
