Significantly, existing balances will remain accessible, allowing customers to withdraw affected tokens or manage their holdings through permitted services. The decision does not constitute a global delisting, as Binance will maintain trading access for customers outside Brazil.
Eight Binance Services Face Restrictions Under New Operational Changes
Beyond cryptocurrency trading, Binance will restrict eight products, including Binance Loans, Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, and margin trading. Other affected services include Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops, and Alpha 2.0, with restrictions beginning October 27.
Customers cannot open new positions through these services, while existing loans will move into repayment-only status. This arrangement allows borrowers to settle outstanding obligations without accessing additional lending facilities through the restricted products. Additionally, Binance will migrate Brazilian customers to local entities within its corporate group beginning October 29.
Binance Introduces Stricter International Transfer Requirements
Binance will introduce additional verification requirements for international cryptocurrency transfers involving Brazilian customers starting November 1. Users must disclose transaction purposes and identify counterparties before completing international cryptocurrency withdrawals.
Incoming transfers may also face delays until recipients provide the necessary verification information. These measures accompany Binance’s broader operational changes affecting trading services, customer accounts, and cryptocurrency transfers across the Brazilian market.
