Initia said on Nov. 2 that its Layer 1 network and rollups were back online and operational following a security-related halt, restoring core network activity while leaving certain withdrawals subject to delays and limits.
The restart did not roll back transaction history. Initia said bridge and exchange transfers were expected to resume later in the day, while users seeking to move specified assets through external routes faced temporary operational constraints.
Initia brings Layer 1 and rollups back online
In a post published at 05:04 UTC, Initia confirmed that both its Layer 1 and rollups had returned to operation after the halt, marking the network's first stated all-clear for those components since the security event interrupted service. Initia attributed the restart to an independently audited MoveVM patch, the isolation of the attacker's remaining forged balances and additional security measures. The project said it did not reverse transaction history as part of the recovery; the network resumed with its existing transaction record rather than reverting blocks or transactions to an earlier state. The cited update did not provide further detail on the incident's broader chronology or the nature of the forged balances.
Withdrawals remain constrained as transfers resume
Initia said bridge and exchange transfers were expected to resume later on Nov. 2, according to its official account. It said LayerZero OFT withdrawals involving WETH and AUSD0 would have 24-hour processing periods and Noble USDC withdrawals would be subject to hourly limits, meaning the Layer 1 and rollups restart does not yet amount to normal withdrawal processing for all supported assets.
Restored asset backing and pending post-mortem
Backing for AUSD0, USDC.n and WETH had been fully restored, Initia stated in a mirror of its official post.
The event has not yet received a full accounting.
Initia said it plans to publish a post-mortem later in the week. That release could add detail on the security halt, remediation and the conditions for lifting remaining withdrawal controls.
