Robinhood has reported a 55% decline in revenue from cryptocurrency-related trades in the third quarter. The company recorded $23 million in crypto revenue, compared to $52 million in the same period last year. Despite the slump in earnings, Robinhood is expanding its cryptocurrency trading services to the European Union in the coming weeks and planning to launch its brokerage operations in the United Kingdom. This move follows Robinhood’s successful launch of crypto trading in the US earlier this year, which saw a surge in users and attracted more than $5 billion in investment.
