What to Know
- Stellar faces growing bearish pressure as its moving averages signal a potential double death cross, threatening further price declines.
- XLM trades near $0.1684 as weakening trading volume and an RSI near 40 indicate limited buying interest and bearish momentum.
- Stellar risks falling toward $0.15 if support at $0.167 fails, while reclaiming $0.19 could weaken the prevailing bearish outlook
Stellar (XLM) faces mounting selling pressure as bearish moving averages threaten another decline toward the cryptocurrency’s established $0.15 support level. XLM trades near $0.1684, below its October closing high of $0.2370, following several unsuccessful attempts to recover lost ground. According to TradingView data, Stellar’s daily chart shows weakening momentum as the price remains below major moving averages, with nearby resistance levels limiting recovery prospects.
Stellar Death Cross Signals Growing Bearish Pressure
The 50-day moving average has crossed below the 100-day moving average, reinforcing the bearish structure across Stellar’s daily chart. Meanwhile, the shorter average is approaching the 200-day moving average near $0.19, creating the possibility of another negative crossover.

Both developments strengthen concerns about a double death cross, particularly because all three moving averages stand above XLM’s current price. These indicators could limit recovery attempts as previous support zones become resistance during upward movements.

Stellar also lost the $0.19 and $0.18 levels during October, reflecting persistent weakness across successive trading sessions. Its latest rebound reached approximately $0.187 before sellers regained control and pushed prices lower again.
Trading volume has declined alongside prices, indicating limited buying interest despite the cryptocurrency’s retreat from its October high. Additionally, the relative strength index remains near 40, showing weak momentum without signaling oversold conditions.
XLM Price Approaches Critical $0.15 Support Level
The $0.15 support level previously attracted strong buying interest during Stellar’s August decline, triggering a recovery that pushed XLM above $0.22. A break below the recent $0.167 low could open the way toward $0.15, roughly 11% beneath current levels. If sellers overcome that support, the $0.14 region, previously visited in May, becomes another potential downside target.
Conversely, buyers need to reclaim $0.18 before challenging the 200-day moving average near $0.19. Sustained trading above that resistance would weaken the bearish setup and improve prospects for recovery. Stellar remains exposed to further losses unless stronger demand emerges around nearby support and buyers reclaim important resistance levels.
