Crypto is WSB and Bogleheads all in one

I just started to dabble in crypto recently. Man this place is weird.

On the one hand, I see posts about altcoins and shitcoins and other random ass shit no one has heard of, because it's going "to da moon" 🚀🚀🚀 and "wow moar green candles" it's almost like I'm in /r/wallstreetbets

On the other hand, there are posts that offer boring ass advice. "just DCA" and "I'm hodling" and "Bitcoin maxi ftw" where I have I seen that before? Monthly contributions, tune out the noise, just "VTSAX and chill" shit it's almost like I'm in /r/bogleheads

And somehow both camps are in the same crypto space, arguing and co-existing together every day. It's fucking wild. It's like, I can be a responsible investor and DCA till I die, but if I want to YOLO it and invest 10k in Squidward coin for the memes, I'll have a cheering section for that too.

I don't have a question or an opinion, just thought this is a unique space.
