NEAR protocol will be enabling IBC into COSMOS

What does this mean for Cosmos you ask? This means the narrative of Cosmos as the internet of blockchains is blossoming. A multi chain future is near and other protocols will soon start to follow.

First of all, what is NEAR? NEAR is a PoS blockchain, EVM compatible via Aurora, interoperable with Ethereum via the Rainbow bridge and TVL is around $300 million.

Liquidity will keep flowing into Cosmos and vice versa. Protocols in the past typical made their chain EVM compatible to connect to Eth, now they will be start being IBC enabled to connect to Cosmos.

Personally my 2 big bets for defi in the future will be ETH with it's L2s and Cosmos with it's giant network of chains.
