Qi Zhou, CEO of QuarkChain, gave a talk at the University of Washington to Introduction to Cryptocurrency

On May 20, 2021, Qi Zhou, founder and CEO of QuarkChain, lectured to the class called Networks and Cybersecurity in Department of Information Systems and Operations Management, Michael F. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.

In this talk, Qi gave a brief introduction to cryptocurrency/blockchain. First, he presented a brief history of Bitcoin and discussed why Bitcoin is becoming popular and some of the narratives of Bitcoin advantages. He also explained how cryptocurrency achieves these advantages. Finally, he outlined the state-of-the-art of blockchain and future trends, also mentioning QuarkChain together.
