I was a hater. I thought, ‘these are so stupid’ (just check my comment history).
It wasn’t until I bought my own and started moving the pieces around that I felt cool and like I belonged in the space.
Then I sold one I bought for $10… $2700. That was in the space of a few days.
Stormtrooper, these might just be the droids you’re looking for.
As crypto investors, degenerate is carved in our skin and flows through our veins. The gambling is real… and that’s precisely where this becomes fun dangerous.
On the day of release, I purchased $100 worth of these NFTs. They’re currently valued at around $4000 (including the 2700 I sold). It’s been amazing and very helpful (especially as the cost of living increases day by day, this money is very helpful).
Last night, I heard about Rojom airdropping to owners of his NFTs, so I picked up the Sun… $400. Seemed like nothing, right? I woke up to it being valued at $800.
So far, I’m only earning money. I haven’t lost anything yet. I had no plan of action for getting out… until this morning. I have two cars that are in need of repair and instead of using that money on those, I bought an NFT for $400!!
Sometimes we need to step away from this space. It is seriously just like a casino (NFTs and some cryptos, not really talking about BTC, but that’s for a different discussion). Gambling is truly an addiction and can have detrimental effects on your health and well being.
Just want to provide an example my father told me about. He had a friend who had a wife and three kids, thriving job, the works. This friend discovered the scratch lottery tickets and became addicted. He was so addicted that his kids and wife left the home and he didn’t realize for months.
Gambling is an addiction and addictions are serious. Learn to recognize the symptoms of addiction in yourself… because I think Reddit NFTs are becoming a source of addiction for many… including myself.
