Stock-Backed Memecoin Lost Half Its Value Despite Nvidia Holdings

Fire Hustle’s central finding cuts through the appeal of “real backing”: assets held by a project do not necessarily give token holders a claim on those assets, much less establish a price floor.
Artificial Inu, which trades under the ticker AI, previously surpassed a $280 million market capitalization, the analyst says. Its design directs 80% of buy-side fees, paid in tokenized Nvidia, into a community vault; sell-side fees are collected in AI, with half burned and half locked away.
But Fire Hustle’s review found that tokenized stocks in the vault—including Nvidia, Microsoft and AMD—were worth only about 1% of the coin’s market value. The project’s website also states that holders cannot redeem the vault’s assets.
“The vault kept growing and the price fell anyways,” she says. The distinction matters: the reported 20% share of tokenized Nvidia includes trading-pool holdings, not just the stock assets accumulated in the vault.
The analyst also examines Hellbound, a smaller meme coin paired with tokenized AMD. Its size could make accumulated stock holdings more significant relative to its valuation, but thin liquidity, a small holder base and nonredeemable reserves leave substantial risks.
Super Inu, or SI, takes a different approach, distributing tokenized Nvidia to holders. Those rewards come from trading fees—not Nvidia’s earnings—and can shrink when activity slows. The analyst reports that SI’s market capitalization fell from around $40 million into the teens.
STONK, the token associated with launchpad Stonk.fun, offers broader exposure to platform activity. According to the video, the platform says roughly 60% of revenue funds token buybacks and burns, with about 15% of the original supply already burned.
Those figures carry caveats. Fire Hustle found higher revenue on the platform’s dashboard than on DefiLlama, and buybacks remain a policy rather than a holder’s legal entitlement. Across these models, the underlying stock exposure adds another market risk; the mechanism supporting vault growth, rewards and buybacks still depends on traders continuing to pay fees.
