Cardano Climbs Up: Analysts Map $2.90 Cycle Target

Cardano is extending higher, and the chart conversation is splitting into two layers: a near-term channel grind and a much larger cycle target.

Analyst Javon Marks says $ADA is still extending after forming a major post-breakout base similar to its 2020 setup. In his framing, that kind of structure marked the early phase of a much larger advance last cycle — and the latest price action is starting to rhyme.

The target remains $2.90.

From current levels, Marks puts that objective more than 960% away. An earlier version of the same map, published when the base was first being flagged, had the move at over 1,000%. The destination did not change. Price simply started working higher inside the thesis.

That is an aggressive, full-cycle style target. Marks is not pitching $2.90 as a next-week scalp. He is arguing that Cardano has cleared a major base and is now in the early stretch of a potentially parabolic phase if the structure holds.

A more tactical read came from More Crypto Online, which noted that Cardano continues to trade inside an ascending price channel.

That matters because channel structure often defines the short-term battlefield. As long as ADA holds the rising support side of the channel, the path of least resistance stays upward and higher-timeframe targets remain in play.

A breakdown through ADA’s channel support would be the first real warning that the extension is stalling.

In other words, the channel is the near-term truth serum. The $2.90 map is the larger ambition above it.

The bullish case is strongest while both are true at once: ADA keeps making progress inside the ascending channel, and the broader base structure does not fail.

If channel support gives way, the $2.90 conversation gets deferred even if the higher-timeframe base is still intact on a longer view.

Cardano’s latest push is being read as more than a random bounce. One camp sees a 2020-like base evolving into another major run, with $2.90 still the first big magnet. Another is simply tracking the ascending channel that has contained the advance so far.

For now, the market is doing the one thing both views need: moving higher without breaking the structure underneath it.
