XRP News Today: $1.03B Stablecoins, ETF Growth and Falling Payments

A new quarterly report on the ledger has plenty of green numbers: stablecoins up 25%, ETF inflows up 40% and tokenized assets up 29%.

But not every number went up, and the coin is trading flat near $1.24. XRP News Today walks through the Q3 2026 scorecard in plain words, adds the numbers that missed the highlight list, and shows how the price fits in.

Fresh Price Update: Flat at $1.24 After a 2.5% Swing

The coin was trading just under $1.25, unchanged over 24 hours, after moving between about $1.23 and $1.26.

The chart opened near $1.24 and dipped to about $1.23 around 7:50 PM on the chart’s clock.

It then jumped to about $1.257, dipped again near $1.235 after midnight, and climbed to about $1.26 around 6:30 AM before easing back to its starting level. The low-to-high swing was about 2.5%, by our math.

Volume fell almost 60%, so the market is calmer after this week’s Binance-driven trading.

Readers following XRP news today should note that a strong quarter has not moved the chart.

Stablecoins on the Ledger Climb to $1.03 Billion

Stablecoins are digital coins designed to hold a steady value, such as one dollar.

According to Blockworks’ Q3 research, shared by the XRP, the ledger’s stablecoin supply rose 25.2% to $1.03 billion.

Metric

Q3 2026

Stablecoin supply on the ledger

$1.03B (+25.2%)

RLUSD on the ledger

RLUSD’s share of the total

98.1%

RLUSD across all networks

$2.52B

Stablecoin transfer volume

$14.09B (+39.5%)

One coin drives almost all of it. RLUSD, Ripple’s stablecoin, makes up 98.1% of the supply.

These are quarter-end numbers, and DefiLlama’s live data showed supply back just under $1 billion on October 22, so the high-water mark has already cooled.

ETFs Add $355 Million and Assets Reach $3.32 Billion

An ETP is an exchange-traded product, a fund-like investment bought on a stock exchange.

Globally, net inflows into products tied to the coin rose 39.6% to $355.3 million, and assets rose from $2.01 billion to $3.32 billion.

That is a 65% jump in assets, by our math, helped by new money and a higher price during the quarter.

Two points add perspective:

  • It is a global figure. U.S. spot funds held $1.42 billion on October 30, per SoSoValue, with total inflows near $1.81 billion.

  • It is a quarter-end snapshot. U.S. funds saw a small $496.50 thousand outflow on October 30.

Network Activity: More Value, Fewer Payments

The numbers that rarely make highlight lists tell a mixed story, according to Blockworks’ network data:

Payment volume

+4.3%

Payment transactions

Not listed

-33.6%

Total transactions

-8.6%

Trading volume on the built-in exchange

+20.2%

Transaction fees burned

35,852 XRP

-11.6%

Payment volume rose from 41.07 billion coins in Q2, yet the number of payments dropped by a third.

That means fewer but larger payments, with the average about 57% bigger, by our math.

Fees burned are tiny amounts destroyed with each transaction, so they fell with activity.

Tokenized Assets Hit $498.7 Million and Aviva Adds a Second Fund

Tokenized real-world assets are traditional investments, such as funds, issued as digital tokens on the ledger. Their value rose 29.2% to $498.7 million.

A key example is Aviva Investors, which launched a tokenized USD Liquidity Fund share class onJuly 29 and a second one for its Sterling Liquidity Fund on October 26.

  • The sterling fund holds about £22 billion, but that is the size of the existing fund, not the amount tokenized.

  • Aviva invested £50 million ($66 million) in the new share class.

  • BNY Mellon holds the fund’s assets, and the tokens act as a digital copy of shares in a regulated Irish fund.

What This Quarter Means for the Coin

Stablecoins, funds and tokenized assets show more use of the ledger. They do not automatically create demand for the coin, which shows up mainly in payment volume and fees.

Payment count and fees both fell. Anyone following XRP news today should read the report as proof of growing activity, not as a price promise.

Here is what to watch next:

  • Whether the stablecoin supply recovers above $1 billion.

  • Whether the number of payments stabilizes.

  • Daily U.S. fund flows, which turned slightly negative.

  • Whether the coin holds above this week’s low near $1.23.

Conclusion

The Q3 report is a strong scorecard for stablecoins, funds and tokenized assets, but payment count and fees fell, and the price is flat. For XRP news today, the smartest approach is to follow the confirmed numbers and ignore the hype.
