Ripple’s President Monica Long dug deeper into the San Francisco-based fintech giant’s end game when it comes to partner strategy. The latest partnership, the integration with Robinhood’s app, unites three categories of institutional finance that Ripple has covered well: compliance-first stablecoin settlement & DeFi financing & treasury management under the same arrangement.

“From bringing RLUSD to retail and institutional markets to helping Robinhood manage its own treasury operations, the Robinhood app partnership reflects growing institutional demand for integrated solutions,” Monica Long told her followers on X. This comes days after Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse presented the 24/7 Returns platform that’s designed to work without days off.

That’s where the two Ripple executives meet in terms of vision: embracing the full power of DLT based blockchain infrastructure comes in a variety of forms, including XRP & RLUSD as bridge assets in traditional cross-border payment corridors. The breadth of the partnership is crowned by a multi-faceted arrangement rather than a focus on one specific product from Ripple’s stack.

Surely, RLUSD is the central piece of this particular deal, but the broader ecosystem was built around XRP. While conducting business operations, the enterprises will have to pay fees in XRP once the whole annualized trading volume is tilted towards a blockchain-based solution. Last year, Ripple Prime, the company’s brokerage platform, processed $13 trillion with no crypto.

This year, the story’s different: Ripple Labs just nailed the highly-awaited National Trust Bank license, which means the fintech behemoth can now operate as a banking service provider in the jurisdiction granted by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) a few weeks ago.

That allows for native XRP Ledger currencies like the XRP coin & RLUSD to be freely traded in high-level regulatory environments. According to Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse, another key turning point was The turning point was the GENIUS Act, as the regulatory steps of the SEC and CFTC finally gave institutional players clear rules of the game, with less odds of bending them.

Ripple’s clearing regulatory posture and actions made within the agenda of moving money like information are starting to bear fruit. During this week’s Swell speech, Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse also assured that XRP stays the main constituent of their ecosystem, viewing RLUSD’s strong institutional appreciation as complementary to XRP Ledger’s original coin.
