Why 13 Weeks Of Strong ETF Flows Haven’t Moved XRP

Ripple Lab’s native XRP coin performed strongly during the past three months on Wall Street via several well-demand exchange-traded funds (ETFs). However, that’s yet to reflect on the token’s price: cumulative netflow just hit $1.80 billion, judging from SoSoValue’s data.

The weekly ETF scoreboard logged slow, but steady gains. A 13-week run of positive inflows paints a picture of constant demand. The institutional players are most actively acquiring Bitwise’s XRP product, while Franklin Templeton comes second & Canary third.

All tradeable products range from -0.16% to -0.29% in fees. Bitwise, the leader of the Wall Street wolf pack, has pulled in $688.48 million so far. Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ and Canary Capital’s XRPC are in a close contest between each other at $396.59 million & $325.47 million, respectively. Both have shown resilience.

Yesterday all XRP-powered ETF products saw $740.41K inflows despite the broader crypto market dip. That has halted the three-day dry run of no inflows during business days. Whether that transcends into a rally on Spot markets is yet to be seen once the geopolitical concerns get fully priced into the global crypto markets.

Presently, XRP’s price is capped in a narrow price range between $1.30 to $1.35, dropping by 4.5% in 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. This week’s Evernorth debut on the NASDAQ serves as another catalyst for XRP: if the $476 million fund performs well on Wall Street, it could set the tone for bullish sentiment on regular markets in the near-term.

Conversely, big-time players on Spot markets aren’t convinced of a price breakout. Measured by a multitude of time-frames, the crypto whales have showcased selling sentiment, reducing their XRP stash. The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) posted negative figures between -.07 to -0.21 on different time-frames as traders attempt to locate the bottom.
