U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $19.16 million in net outflows on October 27, marking their second-largest daily withdrawal since December 2025. According to data from SoSoValue, the latest retreat pushed October’s cumulative outflows to $99.62 million, placing the products on course for their worst month since launch.

Meanwhile, SOL has lost much of its value this month, adding another concern for investors already reducing their exposure. As of this writing, SOL trades at $100.97, per CoinGecko data.

Solana ETF Withdrawals Reach a Historic Turning Point

The recent withdrawals show how quickly investor sentiment can shift when crypto prices fall, leading them to sell their investments. Data from SoSoValue reports that on Tuesday, investors withdrew $19.16 million, one of the second-largest single-day outflows since U.S. spot Solana ETFs started trading.

The highest previous withdrawal was $32.19 million on December 3, 2025, when investors took out significantly more money in a single day. October’s cumulative withdrawals have now reached $99.62 million, far exceeding the relatively modest monthly outflow recorded in June. This difference is more apparent when comparing October with the fund’s earlier performance.

In November 2025, U.S. spot Solana ETFs attracted about $419.38 million in new investments, making the current withdrawals stand out. These products have experienced renewed interest at times, but investor demand fluctuates depending on broader changes in the crypto market.

SOL’s October Decline Adds More Pressure

Solana’s recent performance has made it hard to overlook, with SOL dropping nearly 14% since the beginning of October. Investors who bought through regulated products may rethink their choices as losses pile up, especially since the overall market shows few signs of recovery.

However, ETF outflows alone cannot establish whether investors have abandoned Solana permanently or are simply reducing exposure during a difficult period. This is important because short-term selling does not erase the long-term interest that led to these investment products being created.

Notably, Solana joined the ETF market as interest in crypto investment products grew, allowing people to invest through regular brokerage accounts. This access is still important. The immediate question, however, is whether the current withdrawals will continue into November or ease as investors reassess SOL’s price and prospects.
