XRP’s SWIFT Link Via Ripple Treasury Circles Back

Prominent blockchain researcher SMQKE has recirculated an earlier post highlighting what he describes as a direct connection between Ripple Treasury and SWIFT for XRP.
The original material points to Ripple Treasury documentation that lists strategic partnerships with banks, SWIFT, Refinitiv and other providers. SMQKE frames this as evidence that Ripple Treasury will help facilitate XRP’s entry into the SWIFT network.
Ripple acquired GTreasury in 2025 and rebranded/expanded the platform into Ripple Treasury. GTreasury had been a SWIFT Certified Partner for years before the deal, offering Alliance Lite2 connectivity, SWIFTRef data for IBAN and ABA lookups, and standard corporate treasury tools.
After the acquisition, Ripple added native digital-asset accounts so corporate clients can hold and manage XRP and RLUSD alongside traditional fiat balances in the same system.
The platform therefore sits at the intersection of legacy SWIFT messaging and blockchain-based liquidity.
That is a real, documented integration at the treasury-software and partner-program level. Banks and corporates using Ripple Treasury can interact with SWIFT rails and digital assets from one interface.
The connection runs through the treasury platform and partner certifications, not through a fundamental change in how SWIFT messages are settled.
In practical terms, the setup creates a dual-rail environment: traditional SWIFT messaging on one side, and the option to use XRP or RLUSD for faster settlement or liquidity on the other.
Whether institutions actually route meaningful volume through the XRP leg remains a separate, usage-based question.
Ripple Treasury’s membership in the SWIFT Certified Partner Program and its ability to handle both SWIFT flows and XRP/RLUSD accounts is factual. The platform gives corporate treasurers a single place to manage legacy and digital liquidity.
The leap from that infrastructure to “XRP is now inside SWIFT” is an interpretation that stretches beyond what has been formally confirmed by either Ripple or SWIFT. The plumbing is real. The scale of actual XRP usage through it is still the part the market has to watch.
