Solana Price Today: SOL Holds Above $100 as Real World Assets Jump 6x, and Early Buyers Chase Pepeto's 100x

Anyone tracking the solana price lately knows the strange feeling: the network keeps growing while the chart keeps drifting. SOL trades at $103.48 on CoinMarketCap, down 2.19% in 24 hours and 65% under its $294.33 high.
Underneath that chart, a very different story is playing out. Real world assets on Solana grew about 6x in a single year, to $4.3 billion.
Early Solana buyers know how a gap like that can end. SOL sold for $0.22 in its March 2020 auction, per The Block, and later topped $294. When a chain grows faster than its price, sharp traders start looking for the next early seat.
Pepeto is one of those seats. The frog themed meme coin has pulled more than $11.1 million into its presale, all of it before a single exchange put a price on the token.
Solana Price News: Real World Assets on Solana Grow 6x to $4.3 Billion
Real world assets on Solana, such as bonds and funds sold as tokens, jumped from about $700 million to $4.3 billion in a year. Koin Bülteni reported it on October 16, citing a Castle Labs report.
That puts Solana at 26% of Ethereum's $16.6 billion, up from just 4.5% a year ago. Coin Gabbar reported the same figures and added that US Treasury debt is the largest group, at about $1.5 billion.
Serious money is choosing Solana's rails, even while the solana price drifts lower. Money that wants in, though, first has to get there.
Big Money Builds on Solana, and One Presale Moves Coins Onto It for $0
Pepeto: A Live $0 Bridge Into Solana and Four Other Chains
Getting money onto Solana is still the costly part. Most bridges charge $15 to $50 per transfer, take minutes or hours, and a failed move can trap funds for good.
Pepeto built its bridge to remove that cost, and buyers have backed the idea with more than $11.1 million in its presale so far.
The bridge is live today, before the token lists anywhere, and it charges $0, with only network gas to cover. Coins lock in an audited contract on the first chain, and once that lock is proven on chain, the same coins appear on the second one.
There is no stand in token, and total supply never changes. If a transfer fails, the lock undoes itself and the money comes back.
It links Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base and Arbitrum in under 60 seconds, and one shown example took just 41. No company holds the coins along the way.
Money that wants a piece of Solana's growth may start on Ethereum or BNB Chain, and Pepeto carries it across for nothing but gas. That is the kind of daily use that keeps a token busy after listing.
The token sells for $0.00000019 at this stage, so $500 gets about 2.63 billion Pepeto. Analysts project 100x after listing, which would turn that into $50,000.
The Binance listing is approaching, with no date named yet. For anyone following money onto Solana, Pepeto offers a free road across and an early coin to hold before it lists.
Solana Price Prediction: Can SOL Get Back Above $120?
SOL needs a daily close above $120 first, and once it gets one, the path opens toward $145, says Lenka Fetyko at altFINS on October 14. That $120 line is where SOL has turned back twice on the daily chart, so a break would mean buyers finally won the fight.
Today, support sits at $105, with $100 below it. The first hurdle is the 50 day line at $107.21, per Pratik Oswal at AltcoinBuzz on October 16. He marks $110.60 and then $113.84 as the next targets.
This week, Fetyko expects SOL to trade between $105 and $115. Her RSI reading, a meter of how hard buyers push, sat at 41.6, under the halfway mark of 50, which leaves buyers room to take over.
This month, a close above $120 opens $145, about 40% from here. Lose $100, and $90 comes next, with the 200 day line near $87 as the last big floor. A 40% month would be a strong one for SOL, and still a small slice of the 100x analysts project for Pepeto.
Solana Price Verdict: SOL Sold for $0.22 in 2020, and Pepeto Is Still Selling at Presale Prices
Every solana price forecast runs into the same wall: size. At about $61 billion, SOL needs 2.8x just to see $294.33 again, so it can steady a portfolio but rarely change a life.
Pepeto stands on different ground. Its bridge is live, more than $11.1 million is already in, and analysts see 100x ahead after listing, while the token still sells at a presale price.
SOL's $0.22 price belonged to the buyers in that March 2020 auction, and to no one after them. Pepeto's current price belongs to this stage on the Pepeto official website, and only this one.
Once the stage turns, that price is gone the same way $0.22 SOL is gone. The buyers who move today are the ones holding the low entry when listing day arrives.
