Last Updated: October 21, 2026
Arbitrum (ARB) traded near $0.190 on October 21, 2026, according to CoinMarketCap, more than double its record low of about $0.071 in late June but still about 92% below its all-time high of $2.40, set on January 12, 2024. Our base case puts ARB at $0.15 to $0.22 at the end of 2026, with a bull case of $0.30 to $0.50 and a bear case near $0.10. Longer term, the forecasts we reviewed split sharply: algorithmic models put ARB at about $0.22 to $0.40 in 2030, while Standard Chartered, which began covering the token in September, expects $10 by the end of 2030.
The gap comes down to one question: whether the revenue the Arbitrum network earns from other chains, led by Robinhood Chain, will ever reach ARB holders. Until it does, the token has to absorb about 92.65 million new ARB every month until March 2027, when the team and investor unlocks end.
What Is Arbitrum?
Arbitrum is the largest group of Ethereum layer-2 networks built by Offchain Labs. Its main chain, Arbitrum One, is an optimistic rollup: it processes transactions off Ethereum and posts the data back to Ethereum, which cuts fees while relying on Ethereum for security. Other projects can launch their own chains with Arbitrum’s technology, and more than 30 of them, including Robinhood’s own blockchain, share part of their revenue with the Arbitrum DAO.
ARB is the governance token of the Arbitrum DAO, which controls a large treasury and votes on upgrades and spending. It was airdropped to users in March 2023 and has a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens; the DAO can vote to mint up to 2% more a year but has not done so. ARB is not used to pay gas fees on Arbitrum, which are paid in ETH, and holders do not receive a share of network revenue, which is the main reason its price has lagged the network’s growth.

Arbitrum Price History: From $2.40 to $0.07
ARB began trading on March 23, 2023, after the Arbitrum Foundation airdropped about 1.16 billion tokens to early users, plus about 113 million to DAOs building on the network. It ended 2023 near $1.56 and reached its all-time high of $2.40 on January 12, 2024, two months before the first team and investor tokens were released.
From then on, unlocks and a weak altcoin market pulled it lower. ARB closed 2024 near $0.72 and 2025 near $0.187, a loss of about 74% in 2025, after touching about $0.105 in the October 2025 market crash. In 2026 it fell to a record low of about $0.071 on June 26, then broke out at the end of August as fees from Robinhood Chain surged. Standard Chartered’s coverage in mid-September added to the rally, which peaked at about $0.256 on September 23 before ARB pulled back to about $0.19.
| Period | Key Price |
|---|---|
| December 31, 2023 | ~$1.56 (2023 close) |
| January 12, 2024 | $2.40 (all-time high) |
| December 31, 2024 | ~$0.72 (2024 close) |
| January 2025 | ~$0.95 (2025 high) |
| December 31, 2025 | ~$0.187 (2025 close) |
| June 26, 2026 | ~$0.071 (all-time low) |
| September 23, 2026 | ~$0.256 (2026 high so far) |
| October 21, 2026 | ~$0.190 |
How Did Earlier Arbitrum Predictions Hold Up?
Forecasts made in 2024 and early 2025 were far too high. In April 2024, with ARB near $1.45, Mudrex projected an average price of about $2.01 for 2025 and $2.07 to $3.19 for 2026. In October 2024, DroomDroom expected $3 by mid-2026. Even Coinpedia’s more cautious 2025 forecast, made with ARB near $0.33, put the 2025 low at about $0.245. ARB ended 2025 at about $0.187, below every one of those figures, and traded near $0.08 to $0.10 for much of mid-2026.
Three things went wrong for the bulls. Around 92.65 million ARB a month reached the market from team and investor wallets, Arbitrum’s total value locked fell from about $2.9 billion at the start of 2026 to about $1.4 billion, and the token gained no direct claim on network revenue. The lesson for current forecasts is that network growth alone has not been enough to lift ARB.
What Is Driving ARB in 2026?
Robinhood Chain and Arbitrum’s revenue share. Robinhood launched its own Arbitrum-based blockchain on July 1, 2026, and pays 10% of its net revenue to Arbitrum: 8% to the DAO and 2% to a developer guild. Its fees surged around the start of September, peaking at about $6 million on September 3 and staying above $2 million a day for about a week, but have averaged about $100,000 a day over the past month, according to DefiLlama. The Arbitrum DAO earned about $6.2 million in the first half of 2026, and holds more than $125 million in assets other than ARB.
Standard Chartered’s call. On September 15, 2026, Standard Chartered’s Geoff Kendrick set targets of $0.50 for the end of 2026, $1.50 for 2027, $3.50 for 2028, $6.50 for 2029 and $10 for the end of 2030, based on Arbitrum’s revenue from tokenized stocks and chains such as Robinhood’s. He also noted that ARB has no token burn and no direct claim on revenue, and said a buyback was becoming more likely.
Unlocks ending in 2027. About 92.65 million ARB, worth about $17 million at today’s price, is released on the 16th of each month. The next release is on November 16, 2026, and the schedule ends in March 2027, after which the supply overhang from early backers disappears.
Network activity. Arbitrum One is the second-largest rollup by value secured, at about $10.5 billion according to L2BEAT, behind Base at about $15.7 billion. It handles about 1.3 million transactions a day and holds about $3.5 billion in stablecoins. Its own fee revenue is small, about $8 million over the past year according to DefiLlama, because transaction fees on Arbitrum are now a fraction of a cent.
Recent setbacks. On October 2, 2026, Arbitrum’s Security Council paused new Stylus program activations over the risk of AI-assisted attacks; already-active Stylus contracts keep running. See our report on why Arbitrum paused new Stylus activations.
Arbitrum Price Predictions Compared: Analysts and Models
| Source | Forecast | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Chartered | $0.50 end-2026; $1.50 2027; $3.50 2028; $10 end-2030 | September 15, 2026 |
| CoinCodex | ~$0.149 end-2026; ~$0.35 in 2030; ~$0.74 in 2040 | October 20, 2026 |
| Changelly | December 2026 average ~$0.171; 2030 average ~$0.303; 2040 average ~$0.96 | October 20, 2026 |
| CoinLore | End-2026 base ~$0.127; 2030 base ~$0.22, bull ~$1.21; bull passes $1 in 2028 | October 20, 2026 |
| PricePredictions.com | 2027 ~$0.161; 2030 ~$0.296 | October 12, 2026 |
| Telegaon | 2027 ~$2.17 to $3.42; 2030 ~$7.59 to $10.25; 2040 ~$46 to $58 | January 30, 2026 |
The forecasts fall into two groups. The algorithmic models, which update daily and lean heavily on recent prices, keep ARB below $0.50 until well into the 2030s. Standard Chartered and Telegaon expect ARB to recover most or all of its losses by 2030. Telegaon’s page was last updated in January 2026, when ARB traded higher, so its figures start from a much higher base. There is no active Polymarket or Kalshi market on ARB’s price.
Arbitrum Price Prediction by Year
| Year | Bear Case | Base Case | Bull Case |
|---|---|---|---|
| End of 2026 | $0.10 | $0.15 to $0.22 | $0.30 to $0.50 |
| 2027 | $0.07 | $0.24 | $3.42 |
| 2028 | $0.09 | $0.27 | $5.08 |
| 2030 | $0.13 | $0.33 | $10.25 |
| 2035 | $0.41 | $0.75 | $26.59 |
| 2040 | $0.71 | $1.40 | $58.34 |
How this table is built: the 2026 row is our own scenario analysis, based on chart levels, the unlock schedule and published targets. Rows for 2027 to 2040 summarize the forecasts in the table above as of October 20, 2026: the bear case is the lowest published figure, the base case is the median of each source’s central forecast (the midpoint where only a range is given), and the bull case is the highest published figure. All bull figures come from Telegaon, last updated in January 2026. At a supply of 10 billion ARB, $10 would mean a market value of $100 billion and $58 would mean $580 billion. Speculative, not financial advice.
Arbitrum Price Prediction 2026
ARB enters the last ten weeks of 2026 near $0.190, close to its 20-day moving average of about $0.192 and above its 50-day average of about $0.184 on Binance daily closes, with its 14-day RSI near 50, a neutral reading. Its 200-day average, near $0.119, sits far below the price, a sign that the trend since the June low is still up. Support starts at the 50-day average, and resistance sits near $0.22 and the September high of about $0.256.
Arbitrum Price Prediction for the End of 2026
Base case ($0.15 to $0.22): ARB holds most of its September gains but drifts with the market as two more unlocks, on November 16 and December 16, add about 185 million tokens. This range brackets CoinCodex’s end-2026 figure of about $0.149 and Changelly’s December average of about $0.171.
Bull case ($0.30 to $0.50): Robinhood Chain activity recovers, the DAO moves toward a buyback or another way to pass revenue to holders, and altcoins rally into year-end. The top of this range is Standard Chartered’s end-2026 target of $0.50.
Bear case ($0.10): ARB loses its 50-day average and gives back the August breakout, falling toward the $0.075 to $0.10 range it traded in before September.
Arbitrum Price Prediction 2027
2027 is the year the monthly unlocks end, in March. The median base case is about $0.24: Changelly’s 2027 average is about $0.129, CoinLore’s base case about $0.127 and PricePredictions.com about $0.161, while CoinCodex’s monthly path runs from about $0.13 to $0.52. Standard Chartered’s $1.50 target would require ARB to rise about eightfold from today, and Telegaon’s $2.17 to $3.42 range is higher still. The lowest published figures, Changelly’s minimum and CoinLore’s bear case, sit near $0.07.
Arbitrum Price Prediction 2028
For 2028, the median base case is about $0.27. Changelly’s 2028 average is about $0.286, CoinCodex’s monthly path runs from about $0.18 to $0.35, CoinLore’s base case is about $0.152 and PricePredictions.com’s about $0.197, while Standard Chartered expects $3.50 and Telegaon $3.69 to $5.08. CoinLore’s bear case is about $0.091, and its bull case is about $1.08. By then all team and investor tokens will be unlocked, so the price will depend on demand for ARB rather than on the supply schedule.
Arbitrum Price Prediction 2030
For 2030, the median base case is about $0.33, with CoinCodex at about $0.35, Changelly at about $0.30, PricePredictions.com at about $0.30 and CoinLore at about $0.22. Standard Chartered’s $10 target and the top of Telegaon’s $7.59 to $10.25 range would each value ARB at about $100 billion at full supply, roughly 76 times its market value today.
Arbitrum Price Prediction 2035 and 2040
Long-range forecasts are speculative. For 2035, the median base case is about $0.75, with CoinCodex’s range at about $0.41 to $1.05, Changelly’s average at about $0.68 and CoinLore’s base case at about $0.77, while Telegaon expects $21.35 to $26.59. For 2040, the median base case is about $1.40, between Changelly’s average of about $0.96 and CoinLore’s base case of about $1.83; CoinCodex is at about $0.74, while Telegaon’s $46 to $58 would value ARB at roughly $500 billion.
Can Arbitrum Reach $1?
Not in 2026, and only with a major change in how the token captures value. From about $0.190, ARB needs a gain of about 425% to reach $1. With roughly 7.4 billion ARB in circulation after the unlocks end in 2027, $1 would mean a market value of about $7.4 billion, about 2.4 times its market value at its January 2024 peak. Among the forecasts we reviewed, CoinLore’s bull case passes $1 as early as 2028, Changelly’s maximum passes $1 around 2035, and Standard Chartered expects $1.50 as early as 2027. For a shorter-term view of the token’s slide, see our analysis of ARB at $0.0899.
Key Factors Driving Arbitrum Price in 2026 to 2030
Value accrual to ARB. The single biggest factor. ARB holders do not receive fees, and the DAO has not approved a buyback or staking yield. A vote that links network revenue to the token would change the investment case; without one, ARB remains a governance token.
Revenue from Arbitrum chains. Robinhood Chain and more than 30 other Arbitrum chains pay a share of their revenue to the DAO. If tokenized stock trading grows as Standard Chartered expects, this could become a meaningful income stream.
The end of unlocks. The last team and investor release is due in March 2027. Removing about 1.1 billion ARB a year of new supply would ease one of the main pressures on the price.
Competition from Base. Coinbase’s Base leads Arbitrum in total value locked, at about $6.2 billion against $1.4 billion on DefiLlama, and in value secured on L2BEAT. Base has no token, so a Base token launch would compete directly for layer-2 investors.
Ethereum and the wider market. ARB tends to follow Ether and the altcoin market with higher volatility. See our Ethereum price prediction and Bitcoin price prediction for the wider outlook.
DAO decisions. Proposals such as Entropy Advisors’ October 2026 plan to spend 100 million ARB on incentives for the USDG stablecoin show how treasury spending can add to circulating supply as well as to activity on the network. See our report on Arbitrum joining the Global Dollar Network.
Bull Case vs. Bear Case
| Bull Case | Bear Case |
|---|---|
| The DAO approves a buyback, staking yield or revenue share for ARB holders | ARB stays a pure governance token with no claim on revenue |
| Robinhood Chain and other Arbitrum chains grow revenue from tokenized stocks | Robinhood Chain fees stay near current lows |
| Unlocks end in March 2027 and supply pressure fades | DAO spending and incentives keep adding ARB to circulation |
| Arbitrum keeps its lead over Optimism and narrows the gap with Base | Base launches a token and draws users and investors away |
| ARB reaches $0.50 in 2026 and $1 or more in the next cycle | ARB gives back its August breakout and returns to $0.07 to $0.10 |
How to Check the Current ARB Price and Price Prediction
For the live ARB price, market value and supply, use CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko; for network data, DefiLlama shows Arbitrum’s total value locked and fees, and L2BEAT shows the value it secures and its security stage. The price forecasts on this page are updated with the market, and our daily crypto market today page covers the moves behind them. When comparing predictions from different sites, check the date each one was last updated and whether it is a model output or an analyst’s view, because algorithmic models and analyst targets for ARB differ by about 30 times for 2030.
Where to Buy Arbitrum
ARB is available on major exchanges including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, KuCoin, OKX and Bybit, and on decentralized exchanges on Arbitrum itself. European investors can also buy exchange-traded products from 21Shares and Valour; there is no US spot ARB ETF. ARB can be held in any wallet that supports Arbitrum or Ethereum.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Arbitrum price prediction for 2026?
Our base case puts Arbitrum at $0.15 to $0.22 at the end of 2026, with a bull case of $0.30 to $0.50 and a bear case near $0.10. ARB trades near $0.190 on October 21. Standard Chartered’s year-end target is $0.50, while CoinCodex and Changelly expect about $0.15 to $0.17. Two more monthly unlocks, in November and December, will add about 185 million ARB.
What will Arbitrum be worth in 2030?
Forecasts for 2030 range from about $0.13 to $10.25. The median of the six sources we reviewed is about $0.33, with algorithmic models such as CoinCodex and Changelly at about $0.30 to $0.35. Standard Chartered expects $10 by the end of 2030, and Telegaon’s range tops out at about $10.25, either of which would value ARB at about $100 billion.
Can Arbitrum reach $1?
It is possible but would need a gain of about 425% from today’s price near $0.190, and a market value of about $7.4 billion once unlocks end in 2027, about 2.4 times its value at its 2024 peak. Standard Chartered expects $1.50 in 2027, while most algorithmic models do not reach $1 until the 2030s. A buyback or revenue share for holders would make $1 more realistic.
Can Arbitrum reach $10 or $100?
Standard Chartered expects $10 by the end of 2030, about 53 times today’s price and a $100 billion market value. $100 would require a $1 trillion valuation, more than three times Ether’s entire market value today, and none of the forecasts in our table gets there; the highest, Telegaon, tops out at about $58 in 2040. Algorithmic models’ base cases put ARB well under $1 in 2030.
Why is Arbitrum so low?
ARB is about 92% below its January 2024 high of $2.40 for three main reasons. About 92.65 million new tokens have reached the market every month since March 2024, Arbitrum’s total value locked has fallen sharply in 2026, and the token gives holders no share of network fees. Competition from Base and a weak altcoin market have added to the pressure.
When is the next Arbitrum token unlock?
The next unlock is on November 16, 2026, when about 92.65 million ARB will be released, mainly to team members, advisors and investors, worth about $17 million at current prices and about 1.3% of circulating supply. Unlocks of the same size take place on the 16th of each month until March 2027, when the vesting schedule for early backers ends.
What did Standard Chartered predict for Arbitrum?
In September 2026, Standard Chartered’s Geoff Kendrick set ARB targets of $0.50 for the end of 2026, $1.50 for 2027, $3.50 for 2028, $6.50 for 2029 and $10 for the end of 2030. The bank based its view on Arbitrum’s share of revenue from Robinhood Chain and other chains and on growth in tokenized stocks, and said a buyback was becoming more likely.
How can I check the current ARB price and price prediction?
CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko show the live ARB price, market value and supply, while DefiLlama and L2BEAT track Arbitrum’s network data. This page summarizes forecasts from analysts and models and is updated with the market. When comparing predictions, check when each was last updated and whether it comes from an algorithm or an analyst, as they differ widely.
What is Arbitrum used for?
Arbitrum is an Ethereum layer-2 network that makes transactions cheaper and faster while relying on Ethereum for security. It hosts DeFi apps, stablecoins and tokenized assets, and its technology powers other chains, including Robinhood Chain. The ARB token is used to vote on how the Arbitrum DAO runs the network and spends its treasury; gas fees on Arbitrum are paid in ETH.
Is Arbitrum a good investment?
That depends on your view of value accrual. Arbitrum One is the second-largest Ethereum rollup and earns revenue from Robinhood Chain and other Arbitrum chains, but ARB holders do not receive fees, monthly unlocks continue until March 2027 and the token is about 92% below its peak. A buyback or revenue share would strengthen the case. This is not financial advice.
