Some weeks ago, Germany's Sparkassen savings bank, serving ~50 million customers with €1.62T in assets under management (AUM), began a phased roll-out of XRP trading in their banking apps. Now, a crew member of Oliver Michel of Tokentus Investment AG shared his personal bullish view on XRP price, setting a long-term target between $7 to $9.
On DER AKTIONÄR TV, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange’s affiliate dropped some knowledge in regards to Ripple’s long-term vision of revolutionizing & optimizing the classic financial system, as seen in recent examples. Just last month, Ripple inked a traditional trust bank license in the United States (USA), edging closer towards a full-scale XRPL implementation.
Oliver Michel expresses confidence in XRP ecosystem long-term prospects, suggesting that their most significant developments could take some time to materialize. The daily XRP charts hint at a consolidation phase now, the analyst notes, but then he named a three-headed snake that could turn out as the pivotal catalyst in the bounce back rally.
As it goes:
As strongest points, he references an electronic money license and notes over 60 obtained licenses worldwide. Surely, a $9 price target for XRP would mean nearly tripling the current all-time high (ATH). Set at $3.65, the OG altcoin took a nosedive towards $1.20 earlier this week, but managed to stay afloat at the $1.24 major demand zone since November.
The intersection between traditional finance & digital assets could boost the global crypto market cap by billions, while DLT-based chains have an edge in terms of adoption due to the ISO 20022 compliance.
