This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve releases Dota 2 gameplay patch 7.42 by the specified date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

For the purposes of this market, "patch 7.42" refers to a gameplay update officially titled "7.42" by Valve. If Valve gives the next numbered gameplay update after the 7.41 series a different number (e.g., "7.50" or "8.00"), that update will also qualify. Lettered updates to the 7.41 series (e.g., "7.41g"), hotfixes, cosmetic or event updates, and updates without a new patch number will not qualify.

The patch will be considered released when it is live in the public Dota 2 client and available to all players. An announcement, teaser, patch-notes preview, or content available only in a test, beta, or experimental client will not qualify on its own.

For the purpose of this market, "Valve" refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of Dota 2.

The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve, including the Dota 2 patch notes page (https://www.dota2.com/patches); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Scheduled resolution: Dec 31, 2026.
