EU lawmakers have finalized AMLR that will close anonymous Crypto Accounts, ban privacy coins from July 2027, and place large exchanges under AMLA oversight. Regulators plan a bloc-wide register by 2029 and checks on self-hosted wallets to align crypto compliance with banking standards.
