According to blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain, BitMine deposited an additional 159,728 ETH into staking contracts, expanding its existing position. The transaction raises the proportion of its Ethereum holdings allocated to staking to approximately 86.5%.

Meanwhile, the company’s total Ethereum reserves represent approximately 5% of the cryptocurrency’s circulating supply. This concentration makes BitMine’s treasury decisions relevant to assessments of corporate Ethereum ownership and staking participation.
Ethereum staking allows token holders to support network validation while earning rewards through the blockchain’s proof-of-stake system. BitMine’s allocation therefore creates an additional source of potential returns alongside changes in Ethereum’s market valuation.
Nevertheless, staking rewards depend on network conditions, while withdrawal arrangements and cryptocurrency price movements remain important considerations for participants.

The transaction also highlights the company’s substantial exposure to Ethereum through both staking rewards and the cryptocurrency’s market performance.
