What It Would Take for DOGE to Reclaim $0.08 as SHIB and PEPE Diverge

Three Things to Know

  • 21Shares cut ties with House of Doge on its Dogecoin ETF, the firm's third setback in three weeks.
  • DOGE and SHIB remain stuck below their key moving averages, while PEPE keeps buyers in control.
  • Dogecoin's 50-day average is the line that would turn sentiment.

21Shares has ended its support deal with House of Doge for its Dogecoin ETF, according to a filing with the SEC. The fund itself keeps running unchanged, and the token barely reacted.

The quiet response says more about the chart than the headline. DOGE and SHIB were already sliding, while PEPE has drawn steady buying. Traders now want to know whether Dogecoin can find a floor, or whether the meme market splits further.

21Shares Cuts House of Doge Loose From Its Dogecoin ETF

21Shares US LLC ended its support services agreement with House of Doge for the 21Shares Dogecoin ETF (TDOG). The change took effect immediately on November 5, 2026. A Form 8-K filed with the SEC on Friday disclosed the move. CEO Russell Barlow signed the filing, which said only that the deal ended "in accordance with its terms."

The agreement covered research, data, operational support and marketing. Nothing else changes for shareholders. Custodians, the 0.50% annual fee and BNY Mellon's administration role stay in place, and the fund is not closing.

TDOG is a small product. It held 38,262,002 DOGE, worth about $2.76 million, as of June 30. Its net asset value fell to $14.53 from $25.66 over nine months, a drop of about 43%.

House of Doge owned roughly 41% of the shares. It bought 78,000 of them in April for $1.47 million and pledged them against a $700,000 securities loan. The ETF split marks its third break in three weeks, following the loss of a trademark licence and a Nasdaq listing in a run that began October 19.

Traders shrugged. DOGE barely moved on the news, with 24-hour volume near $527 million.

DOGE Needs the 50-Day Average Before $0.08 Means Anything

Dogecoin trades near $0.072, flat on the day but down about 6% over the week. The monthly loss is steeper at roughly 19%. Those numbers show a slide that started well before the 21Shares filing.

The token sits below its 50-day average near $0.081. It also trades under its 200-day average, which sits near $0.089. A moving average smooths out daily noise to show the broader trend. With price under both, each line acts as a ceiling, and sellers have held control for weeks.

RSI, a 0 to 100 gauge of momentum, reads 35. That is weak but still above the oversold mark of 30. In plain terms, sellers have room to push further before the market looks stretched. Momentum also still points down, so a bounce has no confirmation yet.

On the daily chart, the first hurdle is near $0.076. A clean break there would put the 50-day average in reach. Reclaiming that line would turn $0.08 from a round number into a real foothold for buyers.

The downside is closer than it looks. Support sits near $0.069, about 4% below the current price. Losing it would leave little in the way until the next floor around $0.056.

SHIB Hugs Support While Mirroring Dogecoin's Slide

Shiba Inu trades near $0.0000045, a hair above nearby support. Its weekly loss matches Dogecoin's almost exactly, and the monthly drop of about 17% tells a similar story.

The chart setup looks familiar too. SHIB trades under its 50-day line near $0.0000050. Its 200-day line sits higher, around $0.0000055. Both lines now cap rallies, which keeps sellers in charge of the trend.

RSI reads 36, close to Dogecoin's weak reading. Momentum still points down as well. Neither token shows buyers stepping in with any conviction yet.

Bulls first need a break above resistance near $0.0000047. That would open a path to the next barrier around $0.0000049, just under the 50-day line. Only a close above that average would mark a real shift.

The risk sits right below the price. A drop through current support would expose the next floor near $0.0000041.

Why PEPE Is the Meme Coin Buyers Still Trust

Pepe slipped about 1% on the day. Over the past month it has gained roughly 20%. That puts it on the opposite side of the meme market from the two dog tokens.

Unlike the dog tokens, PEPE holds above both trend lines. Its 50-day mark sits around $0.0000044, and the 200-day is lower still. Those lines now act as floors under the price. The trend is real, and buyers are the ones driving it.

RSI reads 57, firm but well short of overheated territory. Buyers still have room to push before the rally looks stretched. Momentum is also improving, which DOGE and SHIB cannot claim.

The week ended flat, and that pause looks like consolidation after the monthly run. On the daily chart, support sits near $0.0000046, with a deeper floor around $0.0000042. Resistance waits near $0.0000053. A break there would bring the next barrier near $0.0000057 into view.

Two Paths for the Next Three Days

Both setups hinge on levels traders already know.

  • Bullish: DOGE closes above its first resistance and sets course for the 50-day average. PEPE would confirm the risk appetite by clearing its own resistance. A slip back below DOGE's support would cancel this path.
  • Bearish: DOGE loses support and drifts toward its next floor, while SHIB breaks through the support it now hugs. A DOGE reclaim of first resistance would invalidate the move and hand short-term control back to buyers.

Sellers Still Hold the Pen on DOGE

The 21Shares split changed little for Dogecoin's price. The chart already belongs to sellers, and a return to that round number stays off the table until DOGE closes back above its 50-day line. PEPE remains the meme coin with buyers behind it.

That edge is fragile. More House of Doge fallout or a broad meme selloff could pull PEPE down with the dog tokens.
