Hong Kong adds another route into SOL. The Pando Solana ETF (2831.HK) is set to list on HKEX on 13 October, Solana announced on X.

It becomes the city’s second spot Solana ETF. Globally, spot SOL ETFs hold $1.9B in net assets, with $1.61B in cumulative net inflows.
What Does Pando Bring to the Table?
Pando Finance is a licensed Hong Kong manager. The fund holds SOL through HashKey and uses no staking or leverage.
Its management fee is 0.6%, below the 0.99% charged by ChinaAMC, the first Hong Kong SOL fund. Estimated ongoing charges are higher, at 1.6%.
ETF premiums and discounts show why costs matter beyond the headline fee.
Why Asia Matters for Flows
Hong Kong is not alone. Thailand’s Bitcoin and Ether ETF rules start on 16 October, though approval is not automatic.
More regulated routes can widen the buyer pool. Demand can still cool, as Bitcoin ETF inflows collapsed 88% in early October.
A new listing does not guarantee new money. Pando’s success will depend on creations and redemptions, not the listing alone.
SOL Slips as the Listing Nears
At about 15:05 UTC on 12 October 2026, SOL traded at $108.84. That is down 8.8% over seven days.
The BTC pair stood at 0.00131693. The seven-day chart opens near $120 on 6 October and peaks near $122 on 7 October.

Price slid to about $116 by 8 October. A sharp drop on 9 October hit a low near $106. SOL then rebounded to about $110 and held a tight range through 11 October.
A bounce to about $113 came on 12 October before price eased back toward $109.
First Signals to Track
Day-one trading volume will show early interest. Creation and redemption data will show real inflows. A new door into SOL now opens in Hong Kong. The first weeks of flows will show how many investors walk through it.
