3 Token Unlocks to Watch in the Second Week of May 2026

The crypto market will welcome tokens worth more than $737.7 million in the second week of May 2026. Major projects, including Connex (CONX), Avalanche (AVAX), and Arbitrum (ARB), will release significant new token supplies. 

These unlocks could introduce market volatility and influence short-term price movements. So, here’s a breakdown of what to watch.

1. Connex (CONX)

• Unlock Date: May 15
• Number of Tokens to be Unlocked: 1.32 million CONX
• Released Supply: 88.6 million CONX
• Total supply: 100 million CONX

Connex is a permissionless, open, and collaborative Web3 professional network. The project integrates blockchain with networking, promoting transparency and fair value exchange among professionals in the digital economy. Holders can use CONX for payments and governance.

Connex will unlock 1.32 million CONX tokens into the market on May 15. Moreover, the supply is worth approximately $17.95 million. It represents 1.49% of the released supply.

The team will allocate around 822,500 CONX to the ecosystem. Furthermore, the community treasury will get 500,000 altcoins.

2. Avalanche (AVAX)

• Unlock Date: May 12
• Number of Tokens to be Unlocked: 1.67 million AVAX 
• Released Supply: 536.9 million AVAX
• Total supply: 720 million AVAX

Avalanche is a high-performance, open-source Layer-1 blockchain platform. It uses a unique three-chain architecture for scalability, speed, and security.

On May 12, Avalanche will unlock 1.67 million worth more than $17 million. The tokens represent 0.31% of the released supply.

The foundation will receive the entire unlocked supply.

3. Arbitrum (ARB)

• Unlock Date: May 16
• Number of Tokens to be Unlocked: 92.65 million ARB 
• Released Supply: 5.41 billion ARB
• Total supply: 10 billion ARB

Arbitrum is a layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum designed to enhance transaction speed and reduce transaction costs. The network leverages an optimistic rollup protocol to process transactions off-chain while maintaining the security and decentralization of the Ethereum network.

On May 16, the team will release 92.65 million tokens, which make up 1.71% of the released supply. The tokens are worth $13.36 million.

Of the 92.65 million tokens, the team, future team, and advisors will get 56.13 million ARB. Meanwhile, Arbitrum will award 36.52 million tokens to investors.

Besides these three, other prominent token unlocks that investors can look out for this week include Aptos (APT), Cheelee (CHEEL), and Starknet (STRK).
