Bitcoin (BTC) traded above the $64,000 mark as the cryptocurrency market posted mixed performance across major digital assets. While Ethereum (ETH) extended its gains, several leading altcoins struggled to maintain momentum despite steady trading activity.

According to Coingecko, Bitcoin (BTC) climbed 0.9% to $64,759.23, supported by $22.23 billion in daily trading volume, while its market capitalization reached $1.299 trillion, reinforcing its position as the largest cryptocurrency by market value. Additionally, Ethereum (ETH) advanced 2.1% to $1,908.06 while generating $8.47 billion in trading volume, bringing its market capitalization to $230.27 billion.

However, the broader altcoin market delivered a mixed performance as BNB (BNB) declined 1.0% to $594.65 despite recording $631.14 million in trading volume. Likewise, XRP (XRP) fell 1.9% to $1.05 while attracting more than $1.22 billion in daily trading volume, leaving its market capitalization at $65.53 billion.

Meanwhile, Solana (SOL) edged 0.2% lower to $73.79 with trading volume exceeding $1.57 billion, while TRON (TRX) remained largely unchanged at $0.3267 after processing $417.60 million in daily volume. Dogecoin (DOGE) also slipped 0.1% to $0.06974 while recording $352.00 million in trading activity.

Smaller cryptocurrencies outperform despite mixed large-cap market

Although leading cryptocurrencies traded within a narrow range, several lower-cap tokens posted exceptional gains over the past 24 hours, contrasting with the subdued performance across most established digital assets. Litentry (LIT) emerged as the market’s strongest performer after surging 262.4% to $0.5329, while Heima (HEI) jumped 244.2% to $0.5119 and generated an impressive $490.32 million in trading volume, making it one of the session’s most actively traded gainers.

Additionally, Bless (BLESS) advanced 71.1% to $0.02775, while DODO (DODO) gained 56.5% to trade at $0.02919 as FUNToken (FUN) also rallied 51.5% to $0.004526 amid strengthening buying activity. Elsewhere, SkyAI (SKYAI) rose 50.0% to $0.07765 after attracting more than $54.46 million in trading volume, while Cysic (CYS) added 49.5% to reach $0.8339 with daily volume exceeding $165.10 million.

Moreover, Cartesi (CTSI) climbed 39.3% to $0.03019, while StonkBroker (STONKBROKER) gained 39.1% to $0.02007, highlighting continued investor interest in selected smaller-cap cryptocurrencies despite the relatively muted movement among the market’s largest digital assets.

Overall, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) remained the market’s primary anchors, while most major altcoins recorded modest declines or flat trading. At the same time, substantial gains among several smaller tokens demonstrated that traders continued rotating capital into high-momentum opportunities across the broader cryptocurrency market.
