What is Litecoin Cash?

Litecoin Cash (LCC) is a cryptocurrency that was created as a result of a hard fork of the original Litecoin blockchain. The fork took place on February 18th, 2018 and resulted in the creation of two separate blockchains. The new chain has an increased block size limit of 8 MB and also implements several other features such as SegWit, which allows for faster transaction times and lower fees.

The main purpose of creating Litecoin Cash was to make it easier for users to send and receive payments with lower fees than those associated with Bitcoin or Ethereum. Additionally, the larger block size makes it possible to process more transactions per second than either Bitcoin or Ethereum can handle. This makes it ideal for merchants who need to process large numbers of transactions quickly.

Litecoin Cash also offers users the ability to mine coins using their own hardware. This is done through a process called “Proof-of-Work” mining which requires miners to solve complex mathematical problems in order to earn rewards in LCC coins. As with other cryptocurrencies, miners are rewarded for their work by receiving newly minted coins as well as transaction fees associated with each transaction they help confirm.

Overall, Litecoin Cash provides users with an alternative way to send and receive payments quickly and securely while avoiding high fees associated with traditional payment methods such as credit cards or bank transfers. It also provides miners with an opportunity to earn rewards by helping secure the network.
