Are Blockchain Transactions Truly Anonymous? What You Should Know
According to a 2018 BBC article, data usage has become a colossal issue, prompting people to ask the pertinent question; what do these big tech companies do with my personal information? While this answer has not been answered by these companies, the BBC article highlighted three ways these companies use your data—tracking your location, passing your data to affiliate marketing companies, and sharing them with third-party sites and applications. With more people interested in protecting their personal information from getting out, especially when handling financial transactions or paying for that service they wouldn't want others to know about it. Cryptocurrencies, being one of the emerging technologies of the century, have been helpful.
